Citco appoints new Head of Client Servicing to spearhead strategy and growth in Japan
Tokyo/New York/London, March 4, 2025: The Citco group of companies (Citco), the leading asset-servicer to the alternative investment sector, today announced the appointment of Ken Shimamura as Head of Client Servicing in Japan to drive strategy and growth in the region.
This strategic appointment coincides with the launch of Citco Japan Co KK, the firm’s new entity in Japan. The establishment of the local operational headquarters underscores Citco's commitment to the Asia-Pacific region and enhances its global offering to both current and prospective clients.
With over 30 years of experience in the financial industry, Shimamura brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. Prior to joining Citco, Shimamura was Head of Fund Finance at Savills Investment Management Asia Limited, specializing in the Real Estate industry, and has held previous senior roles at CapitaLand, CBRE Global Investors and ING.
