Citco Banking, Depositary and Custody Services received annual Service Organization Control 1 (“SOC 1”) Certification for its Banking, Depositary and Custody service offering.
The 2015 SOC 1 Type #2 Report has been prepared in accordance with the guidelines contained in the United States Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (“SSAE”) No. 16 and International Standard On Assurance Engagements (“ISAE”) 3402 and its related amendments and interpretations.
The scope of the 2015 SOC 1 Type #2 Report covers Citco’s operations that provide banking, depositary and custody services to our clients.
The independent examination consisted of an evaluation of the design and implementation of the Citco Banking, Depositary and Custody Services controls related to banking, depositary and custody processes and information technology. Citco Banking, Depositary and Custody Services controls included those relating to Banking Services, Trading Front Office, Trading Middle Office, Trading Settlements, Transfers, Corporate Actions, Securities Reconciliation, Statement & Pricing, Cash Reconciliation, Static Data, Depositary Services (Dublin), Depositary Services (Luxembourg), Network Management and Vault processes. From an information technology perspective, the examination included controls related to change management, back-up, retention, restoration and replication, logical security, physical security, incident management and system monitoring.
The completion of the SOC 1 examination demonstrates the continuing commitment of Citco Banking, Depositary and Custody Services to quality and confidentiality, as well as further demonstrates, that Citco Banking, Depositary and Custody Services continues to maintain a high level of internal control.
