Romanian company directors' appointments – Time-limited term of office

8 July 2021 - While the Romanian company law has always required for the directors’ term of office to be time-limited, until recently the Registry allowed unlimited appointments as well.

Providing details of the term of appointment of the newly appointed directors is now a necessary requirement, with the Registry no longer allows any deviations. Nevertheless, no limitations on the directors’ term of appointment are imposed.
